I hate McDonald's customers.

All of them.
Every. Single. One.

Anonymous asked: i'm a shift manager working my way through college and I just want to say that I love this blog and I am so happy I found it. I've been working fast food for two years now and can relate to so many of these things. My job does a great job at keeping me motivated to do well in school and leave that place!! :) I think everybody should have to work fast food at least once in their life.

Pet peeves at work
xoaly:
When I’m taking payment in the drive thru, clearly freezing my ass off and the person in the car takes their sweet ass time counting their exact change When some smart ass kindly points out that I “must be cold” standing with the window opened taking their money.. Nope I’m actually quite warm but continue talking nonsense to me, I really don’t mind standing here chatting for 5 minutes...

Mod story
This guy in drive through didn’t put his chip in the reader far enough, so I had to say “You might have to shove it in just a bit harder”, fully aware that it sounded dirty, and then he gave me the creepiest look, winked, and said “That’s groovy.”
I’m scared.

Anonymous asked: Aw, that last anon makes sure to be nice to black people! What a special fucking person!
Anonymous asked: "Chances are, those apparently disproportionate amounts of black people being rude to you are getting angry more often because you’re WHITE (read: you can ALWAYS expect to be treated with a certain courtesy and respect) and they’re often not treated with the same from people like you." - False. I actually make sure I'm extremely polite to them because I know if I'm...

It’d be nice if people would stop making racist comments about their bad experiences in fast food. There’s no fucking excuse and it’s not necessary. Chances are, those apparently disproportionate amounts of black people being rude to you are getting angry more often because you’re WHITE (read: you can ALWAYS expect to be treated with a certain courtesy and respect) and...
waitwhatwasidoingagain asked: About Black customers being bad, in my experience, pretty much all races are equally horrible. Honestly, my biggest "event", for lack of a better word, came from an old (and very angry) White guy. As horrible as it sounds, I think it has more to do with age than anything. Most people = fine. Teenagers and the elderly = THEY WILL MAKE YOU SUICIDAL
zombiepeas asked: I used to work at a Rita's Waterice and man, these bring back horrible and life-scarring memories.
Anonymous asked: We have a customer at work that we know as 'the bitchy black woman'. Apparently this sort of thing is commonplace among our particular chain.
Anonymous asked: I'm sorry but I agree with the earlier statement about black customers. Specifically black women. They are absolutely vile and order like millionaires off the saver menu, saying they want 5 extra pickles and extra mayo and fresh fries then complain about the 3 minute longer wait. Before I started working at McD's I never realised how many black people would have disgusting attitudes...

Sorry about that.
You guys have made this retail robin very happy...
I’ve worked a long 9am-5:30pm shift at Kroger and during my lunch, I walked to McD’s to get a cheeseburger to lunch. I was a little sad to see that instead of a burger, I got a chicken sandwich. It was no big deal, mistakes happen. But not long after, a McD’s employee walked (and I mean he walked across the freaking maze that is the parking lot) into the store, went to the desk...

Anonymous asked: About a lot of managers being shady, some of mine are (well, more than some...) but there are some genuinely awesome ones that work hard AND are nice (where I work, it's usually one or the other). On that note, my heart goes out to everyone dealing with shitty managers. Some of these stories are downright depressing. :(
